As the last few days of 2017 come to an end, I can't help but reflect on this past year + start planning for the upcoming one. For most, the new year brings hopes of new possibilities + new dreams to fulfill. It brings the chance to set (and accomplish) new personal goals as well. So every year, we sit down + list these goals for the new year, which we call resolutions. Whether they are aimed towards health, personal finance or relationships, keeping up with these resolutions can be quite difficult... but not impossible.
New Year's resolutions are generally aimed towards improving your life, so fulfilling them can definitely bring you a sense of triumph. The trick is to dream reasonable, not dream big; work on ways to improve, versus trying to create a brand new version of yourself. Set small goals that lead up to the bigger, more time consuming goals. All it takes is a little time + effort; if you are truly dedicated, you will soon have exactly what you set out to accomplish! Of course it's not going to be easy, nothing worth having comes easy, right? Don't get discouraged when you fall down, just get back up and try again.
